The spider-man weaves his web at the head of the audiences. Sunday evening, TF 1 rose to the top of the rankings with the new American action film “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. This feature film by Jon Watts attracted 3.27 million moviegoers, or 19.5% of the general public and 33.3% of female purchasers under the age of fifty. When it was released in theaters in December 2021, it had already totaled 7.34 million admissions.
France 2 is second with the French adventure film in rebroadcast “Donne-moi des mots”, directed by Nicolas Vanier. Jean-Paul Rouve, Mélanie Doutey and Louis Vazquez attracted 2.41 million viewers, for 12.7% market share. Slightly less than for its first visit, which captivated 2.76 million people in May 2022.
The bronze medal goes to France 3 with the launch of season 5 of the Canadian series “Hudson and Rex”, with John Reardon (and Rex). The first two episodes of the evening - which included four - brought together 2.29 million followers on average, for an 11.6% audience share. An increased return compared to the previous burst, broadcast last summer and whose first evening only attracted 1.76 million curious people (9.9%).
Great feat for Arte with “4 Weddings & 1 Funeral”
M 6 is at the foot of the podium with a new issue of its economic magazine “Capital”, presented by Julien Courbet. Reports on real estate interested 1.97 million French people and showed an 11.0% market share among the general public and 18.6% among housewives under the age of fifty. Better than for work, in the issue of March 17, which attracted 1.76 million viewers (9.7%).
Among the other channels, Arte is doing well with the cult British comedy “4 Weddings & 1 Funeral” in rebroadcast. This Mike Newell classic with Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell attracted 1.21 million people (6.3%). A nice feat since its previous rebroadcast only dates back to last September, on TF 1 Séries Films, with 361,000 moviegoers (2.1%).
