The new detective fiction from TF 1, “Mademoiselle Holmes”, starts with a bang. The first episode scheduled for this Thursday, April 11 brought together 5.16 million curious people, or 26.2% of the public watching television, according to Médiamétrie. There was still a significant dropout for the second part which was followed by 3.82 million people (25% audience share).
On average, the fiction carried by Lola Dewaere therefore convinced 4.49 million fans of the genre for its first evening (25.6% PDA). This is a little more than for the March 14 launch of “Mercato”, the series which preceded it in this Thursday evening slot (4.24 million on average for 25% of PDA).
M 6 is in second position with the broadcast of the Europa League football match between Benfica Lisbon and Olympique Marseille. This first leg of the quarter-finals, won by Lisbon (2-1), kept 2.41 million supporters in suspense (12.9% PDA). The meeting thus took the usual slot of “Beijing Express” which brought together 1.97 million fans the previous Thursday (10.5% PDA).
France 5 boosted by “The curse of Vesuvius”
France 3 completes the podium by rebroadcasting “The Bridge of the Forgotten”. This TV film with Nicolas Gob attracted 2.1 million people (11.1% PDA). During its first broadcast, on August 31, 2019, this storyline attracted 3.8 million viewers (21.3% PDA).
France 2 is only in fourth place with a “Special Envoy” in poor form. The magazine presented by Élise Lucet only attracted 1.5 million curious people (8.2% PDA). The last issue of March 28 did barely better: 1.55 million for 8.9% PDA.
As for other channels, France 5 is doing well thanks to the documentary “Oplontis and the curse of Vesuvius”, which interested 882,000 people, or 4.4% of the public.
