The National Center of Excellence held a graduation ceremony for the eighth batch of 51 students at the Dar Al-Assad Theater for Culture in Lattakia.

The concert included a joint musical performance of one of the Center's students on the law machine in cooperation with his teacher on the violin and a film about the experiences and memories of the students during the three years and experiences gained from practical, scientific and community experiences that contributed to refine their personality and move them to a more advanced stage.

During the ceremony, the story of the wounded Lieutenant Ali Thabet Abdullah, one of the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, who was not deterred by injury and complete loss of sight During his performance of his sacred duty in defending the homeland in the face of terrorist groups to pursue his educational attainment and excellence to be the first in his class at Al-Manara Private University, where he was awarded a scholarship by the Syrian Secretariat for Development within the program (wounded homeland).

In his speech during the ceremony, the hero pointed out that the injury constituted for him a "rebirth .. full of challenge .. instead of submitting to the wounds .. drawing strength from the comrades of arms and the abilities of the Syrian soldier who does not know defeat" and said: The Faculty of Law that I wanted to study before joining the Military Academy in the Syrian Arab Army, expressing the hope at the same time to continue the march of excellence in the university and the completion of graduate studies, sending a message to the graduating students that they constitute “Syria's hope .. They have to exchange it for giving. ”

In the speech of the graduates, both Hazem Afif the first on the batch and Ayat Hajji the second on the batch stressed the adherence to the path of excellence and work with all their abilities to uphold the homeland and raise its flag high, just as he preserved their rights, they will preserve their soil with their knowledge and will make their distinction fit in his name to grow up as he grew up with them.

In turn, the graduate of the February Sky said that the center provides students with modern methods that enable them to research and teamwork and an opportunity to gain independence and build personality.

Director of the Center, Dr. Muthanna Al-Qubaili, pointed out in his speech that the graduates are the fruit of three years of hard work in which they have joined forces Along with the members of the teaching and administrative staff, which aims to create a generation capable of creativity, challenge and analysis of problems to reach optimal solutions and build a balanced personality and ethics of cooperative work and the establishment of love for the homeland.

The National Center of Excellence, which was established in 2008, attracts outstanding students with a basic education certificate.The duration of the study is three years during which the student earns a monthly salary in addition to providing housing for those wishing to reside inside the center and provide life and health services.

The ceremony was attended by Governor of Lattakia Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem, Secretary of the Latakia branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, Dr. Mohammed Shreitah and members of the Board of Trustees of the Excellence and Innovation Commission.
