In Spain, an outbreak of listeriosis detected in meat products has forced the Ministry of Health to issue a national and an international alert. Originated in the autonomous community of Andalusia, the outbreak has already left more than 200 cases of infection and three deaths. Although the number of new cases begins to decrease, the authorities are following the evolution with suspicion. Pau Mosquera brings us more details.
