Arab and foreign media delegations visited the media center in the special wing of the Ministry of Information on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 61st Damascus International Fair to get acquainted with the work of the national media, stressing that it exists to convey the true image of Syria that triumphed over terrorism.
Samira Al Harrasi from Hala FM radio in Oman expressed her happiness to participate in the coverage of the exhibition, describing it as the annual wedding held by Syria, rich in its beauty and civilization, noting the high level organization for the opening of the exhibition, which will “transfer its activities in every detail”.
Al-Harrasi pointed out that besides covering the exhibition there is a program to visit a number of archaeological and tourist sites in Syria to prepare information materials about them.``There is an aesthetic image we would like to convey to our people in the Sultanate of Oman to tell them they saw with us that Syria is fine and we convey the true picture with all credibility, '' she said.
Mohammed Al Alawi, a journalist from Alwesal Radio Oman, said that their presence in the exhibition gave them an opportunity to see the victorious Syria up close, pointing out that the exhibition represents a window from Damascus to the world and it is our duty as media to convey this picture.
