(CNN) - Tropical storm Dorian is on its way and is expected to be a category 1 hurricane as it approaches Puerto Rico on Wednesday.
Over the weekend, Dorian could upgrade, even a category 3 hurricane, before reaching Florida.

Curfew in the US Virgin Islands
The governor of the US Virgin Islands announced a curfew in the territory on Wednesday morning. This has just come into effect.
The curfew will continue until 6:00 am on Thursday.

A hurricane warning was issued for the Puerto Rican islands of Vieques and Culebra, as well as for the US Virgin Islands, the National Weather Service said on Wednesday.
A hurricane warning means that hurricane conditions are expected somewhere within the area, in this case in the next 12 hours.
On Wednesday, tropical storm conditions are expected in Puerto Rico with possible hurricane conditions.
Tropical storm Dorian has strengthened to 70 mph (112 kph) this morning, just 4 mph (6kph) from reaching hurricane condition.
The forecast for Dorian considers a continuous strengthening in the coming days, reaching category 3 on Sunday in the Bahamas. The extended forecast for Dorian still considers it to land in Florida on Monday.
