Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis toured the national companies participating in the Damascus International Fair in the Syrian Pavilion and listened to them on the facilities provided to them, stressing that the government attaches great importance to supporting the local industry and securing all its requirements in the context of accelerating production and supporting the national economy.
Khamis also visited a number of foreign and Arab pavilions participating in the exhibition, including Russia, Iran, China, Iraq, Venezuela, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Belarus, DPRK, Pakistan, UAE, Crimea, Indonesia, Philippines, Cuba and Macedonia.

In a statement to reporters at the end of his tour, Eng. In response to a question about the US threat to impose sanctions on the companies participating in the exhibition, Engineer Khamis explained that these threats are not new and have been going on since before the war on Syria and during which they have an agenda of sabotage, destruction and killing of Syrian people, stressing that no matter what challenges were imposed on Syria, the will of life and existence Production and construction will remain with the Syrians, welcoming the participation of Arab companies in the exhibition.

For his part, Minister of Information Emad Sara told reporters that about 125 media outlets are involved in covering the activities of the exhibition and 42 attributes were granted to enter the exhibition and participate in its coverage, explaining that the exhibition is gaining special importance this year due to its synchronization with the victories of the Syrian Arab Army recently achieved in rural Northern Hama and Southern Idlib.
