The public band Radio France organized, Tuesday, August 27, its conference of return, with the House of the Radio, in Paris. He praised his excellent hearings over the past season and announced his intention to continue his commitment to digital and innovation. Here's what to remember.

"First actor of the radio on the digital, first producer of podcasts in France, first diffuser on the connected speakers". This Tuesday, at the Maison de la Radio, in Paris, Sibylle Veil, the patron of Radio France, and her teams have not failed to recall the "exceptional season" of the group of public radio in 2018-2019.

So what goals for the year that starts? "Continue to conquer, rejuvenate and diversify" listeners, by focusing on "interactive formats , " insists the CEO. With a battlehorse: "Mobilize against cultural standardization and against misinformation" .

Public radios promise more podcasts and interactivity, for example, with content that matches the connected speakers. Like the immersive series of France Bleu , composed of five documentaries (including two already online) on maritime heritage (one on the Breton islands), in 360 ° video and its binaural: a technology reproducing human listening in three dimensions.

The podcasts offer is growing

France Inter will propose, every Thursday, a podcast realized by the writing and embodied by Bruno Duvic. She is also working on a series dedicated to the attack on Bataclan. In the novelties also: The Dico of the teenagers on the evils of the young people ( France Blue ); Queer interior by France Inter or They will land the moon on the technological challenges of the 21st century ( Franceinfo ).

France Culture , a highly-regarded digital radio, promises a new salvo of promising original podcasts: fiction (such as espionage, The Orloff project , online September 23), history (about the attacks of September 11 ), documentaries…

And this year again, Radio France will launch a call for projects for writers to write fiction to it.

France Inter : we do not change a grid that wins

Having become number 1 last year, France Inter does not shake a winning grid, with the duo Salame - Demorand at the head of the morning. The environment becomes "priority" , worn by Mathieu Vidard whose head square becomes La Terre au carré (13:30). The journalist Nadia Daam comforts the sorrows of love, collects little secrets about sex or friendship in Modern Love (Sunday at 22 pm). Giulia Times is interested in gender identity and gender equality in Not her kind on Fridays (8 pm). An hour in the playoffs , hosted by Xavier Leherpeur, on Saturday at 8 pm, will talk about the series "with the same bad time as The Mask and the pen," promises Laurence Bloch, director of France Inter.

Franceinfo : ever closer to TV

For three years now, the radio has been broadcasting joint programs with the France Télévisions news channel. "Relations will intensify," warns Vincent Giret, the director. In the run-up to the municipal elections, the 8:30 will be broadcast twice (radio / TV), like a series of off-air programs that will be launched in 2020.

France Bleu : links tighten with France 3

The radio station at 44 local stations is continuing its rapprochement with France 3 . In Occitania and in Provence, it is done: the morning of France Bleu , filmed, are also diffused on France 3 , since January. The changeover is imminent in the North and in the Creuse. In Provence and Brittany, the changeover "is expected before the end of the year," says Jean-Emmanuel Casalta, director of France Bleu, without being able to say more for the moment. Announced delivery of the site, on the whole territory, in 2022.

France Culture : Comics, ecology and history on the menu

Comics become "art in their own right" on France Culture , every Sunday (3:30 pm). Ecology is highlighted in Hervé Gardette's ( ecological) transition ( 8:45), in Guillaume Erner's Matinale . Xavier Mauduit promises a new look at the Cours de l'histoire (every day at 9 am), while Emmanuel Laurentin looks at contemporary issues, debates of ideas (6:20 pm).
