Today a flight from Germany is expected in Kabul again, it is the 27th of this kind since December 2016. Consistent deportations speak for a consistent constitutional state. The essence of the rule of law, however, is that each case is examined individually.
There are experts who doubt that Afghanistan is a safe country. And there is the story of those 69 Afghans who were deported on the 69th birthday of the Minister of the Interior, which Horst Seehofer found remarkable at the time.
In the end, one of the men was dead, he had suffered from mental health problems. He should not have been deported in this condition. Nobody has recognized that.

The silent scandal

Equal educational opportunities should be normal in a democracy , but in Germany they are not. In the studies of the last few years one reads, in different variants, always the same: Children from rich families have better educational chances than children from a poor environment . Children with a migrant background are worse off than those without education. Our education system is designed like a clan attachment.
For example, the mathematics achievements of 15-year-old students from socially deprived families are on average four years less than the achievements of students from socially better off families. Children from families with a high occupational status receive a recommendation for Gymnasium twice as often as children from working-class families. The examples from investigations of the past years are called the new ifo education barometer , which is presented today in Berlin at ten o'clock . It is the document of a silent scandal.
"We want to improve the educational opportunities in Germany in the joint alliance between the federal and state governments, and we want to set up a National Education Council on the model of the Science Council," says the coalition agreement of the governing parties. To date, however, there is no National Education Council. Why not, nobody can really explain.
The Ifo Institute surveyed around 4,000 people. 71 percent are in favor of spending more public funds on children from poorer families in order to increase their educational opportunities. 83 percent support expanding scholarship programs for low-income students. The vast majority of Germans want more money for educational justice. An order to politics can hardly be clearer.
