Since the first hour of the start of the journeys, dozens of visitors have come to the ticketing louvers as a common stop for everyone, after which the objectives vary from attending events and artistic activities to shopping, visiting different pavilions and recovering memories of some 60 years ago.
SANA monitored the movement of citizens in bus centers and as they entered the station and boarded the train, where a number of citizens expressed their satisfaction at the availability of louvers to enter the exhibition tickets at the departure centers and the foot station for trains and the facilities provided to them and the number of buses in the starting centers distributed in several places, which facilitated their access to the exhibition.
Mohammed Dabbour and Rami Shamia expressed their joy at the start of the exhibition, which is considered a sign of recovery and the return of economic and social shine as it is a big demonstration announcing the end of the war on Syria, while Ibtisam Al-Boushi pointed out that the movement is easy to obtain tickets at the departure centers.
Hassan Al-Falah, an employee who cuts tickets for citizens at the station, explained to SANA that the tickets are at a nominal price and come to count the number of visitors and withdrawals that take place at the end of the exhibition.He pointed out that the turnout is good on its first day and the starting centers are witnessing a series of traffic and the increase in the number of buses has eased congestion.
A number of internal bus drivers confirmed that the movement in the departure centers is regular and smooth. And safely.
For her part, Hani said that the journey on the train was fun and convenient, while Mohamed Diab, accompanied by his family, pointed out that he cannot miss the Damascus International Fair because it is a joy and happiness among the people.
Marwa Atouk pointed out that she intends to start the exhibition to visit the Syrian pavilion and other events because the beauty of the exhibition lies in its exhibitions and events, in addition to it is an opportunity to get acquainted with the foreign companies participating and other peoples' cultures, inviting everyone to visit the exhibition and enjoy its activities.
The train driver Ahmed Hammami pointed out that the Railways Corporation has secured the trains from the foot station to the exhibition city to serve the citizens and facilitate the process of transporting them and relieve the pressure from the starting points of buses in the city of Damascus, pointing out that the train can accommodate 1200 passengers.
Zakaria pointed out that the train consists of 12 vehicles that can accommodate 102 passengers, explaining that every 40 minutes the train moves from 2:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The Ministry of Local Administration and Environment has allocated 150 public and private buses to transport visitors free of charge from Damascus to the new exhibition city on the Damascus International Airport road and vice versa from 11 centers for starting buses as follows.
Starting center under the bridge of Mr. President and Bab Touma Center at the bus stop, Rokn El-Din, Dummar project, Mezzeh highway in front of Al-Jalaa Hall, Jaramana, Alsumaria, Sahnaya, El-Sayeda Zeinab, El Baramkeh garage and train arrival station.
The General Organization of Railways allocated 34 trips to transport visitors to the 61st Damascus International Fair through continuous round-the-clock flights distributed according to the movement program prepared by the Foundation.
The Damascus International Fair opened its doors today for visitors as it was yesterday for the official opening and will continue until the sixth of September next.
