Prime Minister, Eng. Emad Khamis, discussed with an Iranian delegation headed by Minister of Roads and City-Building Mohammed Islami, Chairman of the Higher Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation between Syria and Iran, strengthening cooperation in the industrial, commercial and investment fields and the importance of communication between Iranian and Syrian companies participating in the Damascus International Fair to build solid foundations for cooperation Private business.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Planning and International Cooperation Commission, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Syrian Ambassador in Tehran, the Advisor to the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus.
In a related context, Eng. Khamis discussed with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Otionin Pavel Vladimirovich cooperation between the two countries in the industrial, commercial and agricultural fields and the establishment of economic partnerships.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Public Works and Housing, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Belarusian Minister of Health and the Belarusian Ambassador in Damascus.
Eng. Khamis also discussed with Lebanese Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mahmoud al-Qamati the strengthening of economic cooperation relations between the two countries and the optimal investment of economic and trade opportunities for Damascus International Fair to enhance trade exchange and find common markets for products in both countries.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
