At least that's what a Canadian man showed when he played the same lottery numbers for almost 20 years and finally won the jackpot, according to CTV, a CNN partner.
Bon Truong of Edmonton said he knew he won $ 60 million in the Lotto Max jackpot on October 26, 2018 the morning after the numbers were obtained, according to a press release from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
Instead of claiming his prize immediately, he decided to wait almost ten months later because "he felt overwhelmed by the magnitude of his victory," he told WCLC.

As soon as he saw the winning numbers, Truong went to the store and asked the clerk to print them, just to be sure, he said. He took the numbers home and checked them twice for hours.
"I started thinking about what this victory would mean for my family," he said. "I realized that many things are going to change and I wanted to make sure we were all ready and prepared for those changes."
Truong's winning numbers were 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 20, and 30. He told WCLC that those numbers are a combination of important dates and family birthdays.
“The first thing I thought was: 'I will be able to pay everything!' and I was happy to do that, ”he said.

Truong told WCLC that he first plans to buy his family a new home and save money for his future, with a vacation in process.
The WCLC said Truong's $ 60 million victory is tied as the biggest winner of Lotto Max in Alberta's history. A couple earned $ 60 million in September 2017.
