Occupied Jerusalem - SANA - The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the announcement by the Honduran government to open what it called a diplomatic office

Occupied Jerusalem-Sana

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the announcement by the Honduran government of opening what it called a "diplomatic office" in occupied Jerusalem and its recognition of the holy city as the capital of the Israeli occupation entity, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy and its resolutions.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement today that the declaration is a direct aggression against the Palestinian people and their rights and hinders any international efforts to achieve peace on the basis of international references.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to condemn this declaration and to take action against the Honduran government for its crime against the Palestinian people, ignoring its obligations towards the resolutions of the Security Council, which condemns and denies recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the occupation entity.

The government of Honduras announced yesterday that President Juan Orlando Hernandez will visit next Friday to the Israeli occupation entity to open what it called (diplomatic office) in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
