At the 61st Damascus International Fair, national food companies make up more than a third of the 310 national companies from various companies. The exhibition is a window to promote food products not only locally but also in foreign markets through the delegations of Arab and foreign businessmen.
The head of the food sector marketing committee for the private sector in the exhibition Talal Qala Ji explained that the number of food sector companies participating in this session of the exhibition, especially in the wings of the show and taste up to 125 companies of the largest national food companies that provide the latest products and recorded a high turnout of Syrian visitors and business delegations Among them are Omani, Emirati, Kuwaiti and Swedish who toured the pavilions of the food sector and expressed their admiration for the quality of Syrian products. Ammar Mawlawi, marketing supervisor at one of the coffee companies, explained that participation in the exhibition comes within the company's policy to be present in all economic activities, especially this national demonstration to offer its products to visitors and provide special offers and introduce products and prove the company's presence among national companies.
For his part, Director General of one of the food industry companies Ragheb Salibi explained that the exhibition is an important economic demonstration at the economic and social level and an opportunity to communicate with customers directly and conclude deals lauding the organization in the exhibition and overcome the gaps that have occurred in the past sessions.
Mohammed Shamia, executive director of the pasta industry lab, expressed his hope that the participation of his company, which started working eight months ago in the exhibition, will be successful and effective and serve the consumer and support the industry.
For his part, Osama Al-Awar, general manager of sales in one of the companies pointed out that his company relies on Syrian agricultural products, production, manufacturing and local marketing in addition to external marketing indicating that the company is present in the food industry wing and the agricultural chamber wing in addition to the sales market and offers offers and discounts of up to 25 percent on Number of products we offer.

Raja Al-Sahwi, an executive at one of the companies, pointed out that the company's work revolves around marketing a Syrian industrial directory that includes titles and information on all industrial activities and promoting evidence known as a specific segment such as traders, engineers, contractors and industrialists, each category according to its specialization and orientation to serve the national industry and the reconstruction phase.
