The Damascus International Fair attracted an increasing number of visitors on its third day, reaching 205 thousand visitors, according to the Director General of the International Exhibitions and Fairs.
The Syrian Pavilion for Trade in the exhibition witnessed a remarkable congestion of parents and their children to buy their school needs due to the approaching opening of schools, while the children's playground and scattered theaters in the exhibition city filled with joy and entertainment.
On stage, artists Saier Ibrahim and Hossam Junaid performed a number of their well-known songs, while the children's theater saw a play “The Story of Smurfs”.
An auction was held today for the sale of 24 horses of purebred Arabian horses organized by the Office of Arabian Horses at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform with the participation of a number of Syrian horses of pure origin.
The General Organization for International Exhibitions and Fairs will honor tomorrow the participants of the 61st session of Damascus International Fair at the businessmen center in the city at 6:00 pm.
The 61st session of the Damascus International Fair started on August 28th, when the reserved areas amounted to 100,000 square meters, the largest area in the history of the exhibition and will continue until the sixth of September.
