Sanctions on 2 individuals and 3 organizations due to US and North Korea involvement-Reuters News-International

[Washington, 30th Reuters]-The US Treasury announced on February 30 that it has imposed sanctions on two individuals and three organizations for being involved in the settlement of North Korea.

The sanctions for this time are settlements that attempt to transfer oil between ships and avoid UN sanctions against North Korea.

The two individuals designated as sanctioned were involved at least twice in the settlement of the North Korean ship and handed over 1.7 million liters of petroleum products to the North. Two individuals are said to be involved in the three companies that were subject to sanctions.
