SPIEGEL bookmarks - the new book series: Play editor-in

2019-08-30T10:07:33.080Z

We bring out a new series of booklets: In SPIEGEL bookmarks, we bundle stories that point beyond their actuality. Which texts are that? You should decide that.

Dear Readers,

Every week the SPIEGEL is published with a selection of the most important news and interesting reports, analyzes, discussions, portraits, comments and reviews from our editorial office.

And every week we regret once again that the magazine lasts only seven days at the kiosk - and maybe at home on the coffee table. Because some texts go far beyond the news of the news business and deserve to find much longer interested readers.

These profound, exciting and lavishly researched articles will soon find a place in a new issue: In SPIEGEL bookmarks, we want to publish the best "evergreens" from the SPIEGEL publications of the previous months. The booklet series wants to assemble the texts that deserve to be bookmarked by them.

Which texts are that? You should decide that!

We are looking for readers nationwide for a board of trustees, which selects the contributions for the first issue of SPIEGEL bookmarks. Play editor-in-chief and decide which texts make it into the magazine - and which not.

If you would like to become a reader curator, you can register here by 20 September with your name and e-mail address. You will then receive three articles by e-mail, which you should rate.

From all online participants, we then select six readers curators, who we invite to the SPIEGEL-Haus in Hamburg on 19 and 20 October, to meet them with the final selection - and also to discuss the SPIEGEL in general. As a thank you, a harbor tour of a special kind awaits you with SPIEGEL editors! The registration form as well as more detailed information about the selection process can be found at www.spiegel.de/lesezeichen.

We look forward to your favorites and look forward to sharing with you. Put your bookmark!

Your Steffen Klusmann,

Editor-in-Chief DER SPIEGEL
