The “Jurassic Plastic” exhibition, which produces objects such as dinosaurs from plastic toys that were no longer needed, began in Bangkok on the 26th. It was designed by Hiroshi Fuji (58), an artist and professor at Akita Public Art University, and is designed to make you think about the problems of plastic that has been mass-produced and consumed.
Mr. Fuji started an experiment to avoid throwing away household waste in 1997 because of the increasing sense of discomfort with plastic products and garbage. After that, he launched a project called “Kaekko” where children can exchange toys that they no longer need. .
Among them, activities have started to make objects using toys that remain without being received by children. Last year, we held the first “Jurassic Plastic” exhibition in Sydney.
