The fourth day of the Damascus International Fair witnessed the launching of economic and creative forums with the arrival of crowds of visitors to get acquainted with the renewed activities of the exhibition, which numbered 132 thousand visitors, according to the director of the General Organization for International Exhibitions and Markets.

Director of the Foundation Ghassan Al-Fakiani said in a statement to SANA that "to date the administration of the exhibition has not registered any complaint from visitors since the beginning of the exhibition," considering that the smooth and comfortable movement of visitors and semantic signals spread throughout the city contributed to this.

The Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, in cooperation with the General Organization for Exhibitions and International Markets, today honored 98 entities comprising all participating countries formally through their embassies in the 61st session of the exhibition and ministries, institutions and national public, private, Arab and foreign companies.

The third forum of Syrian-Russian businessmen was held on the ground of the exhibition city to discuss prospects of investment and economic and trade exchange between the two countries and ways of developing them.

The 19th edition of Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention was opened today at the fairgrounds with the participation of 827 inventors, organized by the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in cooperation with the Higher Authority for Scientific Research, the Excellence and Creativity Authority and the Inventors Association.

The Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Syrian Paragliding Club Association, organized a Paramotor paragliding over the exhibition city performed by a group of pilots from several countries, including France, Lebanon and Syria.

The Hajji Foundation for the export of vegetables and fruits with the Syrian House in the Russian Republic of Crimea signed an agreement to export quantities of vegetables, fruits and olive oil worth $ 2 million.

The artists Ramzi Al-Shoufi and the Lebanese artist Reda performed a number of their songs on the stage of the exhibition with a remarkable interaction from the audience, while Amo Said performed the play “Adventures Masha” written and directed by the artist Said Ataya.

Tom Al Halabi, Kami Garzeddine and Bakra Elna will be singing on the stage of the show tomorrow.

The Damascus International Fair is one of the oldest and most prestigious exhibitions in the region with a history of cultural, economic and artistic activities.
