Damascus, (SANA) - The Health Center of the Rural Health Directorate of Damascus offers various medical and therapeutic services to visitors of an exhibition

According to Dr. Hiam Salloum, the head of the Health Center of the Damascus Rural Health Directorate offers medical and therapeutic services to visitors of the Damascus International Fair.He explained that the center has accompanied the exhibition since its re-launch in 2017 and offers its services free of charge.

Dr. Salloum explained that the staff of the center up to 30 people between a doctor, a paramedic and a nurse and dealing with emergency cases, which include wounds, bruises, fractures, burns and other injuries resulting from congestion or toys or intestinal complications, noting that the critical cases are referred to the hospital through the existing ambulance At the exhibition.

Dr. Salloum pointed out that the number of patients who have received services at the center since the inauguration of the exhibition to date reached about 400 cases, one case was transferred to the hospital, while the number of cases served by the center last year to more than 1000 indicating that the medicine is provided free of charge to patients in addition to services Measuring pressure, sugar and treating cases of sunstroke.

Dr. Salloum pointed to the presence of a health control team on the food provided in restaurants scattered in the exhibition.

The center supervisor Ibrahim Abdullah pointed to the presence of nine ambulances distributed throughout the exhibition in addition to a car on the road to Damascus International Airport to transport emergency cases to hospitals, pointing out that the work of the health center lasts for thirty days 24 hours since the start of preparations for the exhibition and during the opening days and after 10 days to continue to provide services to the employees of the exhibition city, companies and participating parties from the public and private sectors.
