Implementation of a number of projects on a number of road axes in Homs

The branch of the General Organization for Roads Transport in Homs is carrying out maintenance works on the axis of the tourist road in Al-Hawash area with a value of 400 million liras, in addition to carrying out maintenance works for the northern branch of the Homs-Tartous axis with a value of 360 million liras.

The Director of the branch of the Foundation, Mahmoud Al-Ali, told SANA that work is continuing on the Homs Tadmor axis to rehabilitate bridges damaged by terrorism, in addition to following up the implementation of maintenance works on Tadmur Al-Sokhna road in different locations, with a completion rate of 50% and on the road of Palmyra Deir Ezzor. Million pounds and the completion rate also exceeded 50 percent.

Regarding the Homs phosphate axis, Al-Ali pointed out that maintenance work is being carried out on this axis in different locations worth about 700 million pounds in addition to the maintenance of some bridges and on the West Homs diversion axis. The completion rate is 40 percent.

Al-Ali pointed out that the percentage of completion in the project of establishing the new Homs Masyaf road reached 65 percent and the cost of the project is estimated at 7 billion and 500 million pounds.
