With 110,500 visitors and a host of economic conventions, forums and concerts, Damascus International Fair concluded its sixth day.

In the presence of a number of Arab and foreign companies, the Ministry of Transport presented today the investment projects it has in its various sectors within the forum “Investment and investment opportunities in the transport sectors”.

The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources also signed three contracts with Russian companies in the field of oil and gas.

The Ministry of Administrative Development announced its first launch of the “Wasla” platform, which aims to register and address citizens' complaints and enhance communication between them and public authorities, in cooperation with the Ministries of Public Works, Housing, Local Administration and Environment.

The 19th session of Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention continued for the third day with the participation of 387 inventions in addition to holding several lectures and discussion sessions with the participating inventors and businessmen on the sidelines of the exhibition.

The theater witnessed a theatrical performance by the Charlie Chaplin Sham Band by director Nizar Al-Bidin and a performance by the Gabala dancers, followed by a concert by Shadi Jamil.

Tomorrow's events at the Damascus International Fair include a lottery for the exhibition, accompanied by a concert by Wael Farah, Anas Karim and Hussein Al-Deek.

The 61st Damascus International Fair officially kicked off on August 28th and lasts until September 6th, from 5 pm to 11 pm.
