School bells rang this morning, announcing the beginning of the new school year, where schools received more than 3.6 million students and pupils from different educational levels in all governorates after the Ministry of Education provided all the necessary supplies to start the new school year.
SANA visited a number of schools that received its students today in Douma city in Damascus countryside and was briefed on the start of the educational process. All necessary supplies have been secured for the success of the educational process, especially with the return of security and stability and the availability of necessary services, which has played a major role in increasing the number of pupils.
She explained that 3 levels were opened for students who were unable to enroll in schools during the past years, pointing out that students were dropped out of class B curriculum, which teaches three levels each level of students studying two rows and after the end of the curriculum students undergo a sounding test of their information The exam joins peers indicating that all students are admitted to the school even those without papers.
Samar Issa, head of the Duma Girls' Secondary School, said that the school started its doors to receive more than 1,500 female students. This increase is due to the return of many parents to their homes thanks to the brave Syrian Army who liberated the region from the abomination of terrorism. In particular, the educational level of the school is excellent. A number of its students participated in the scientific Olympiad and achieved advanced positions, while the teacher Salma Al-Masri indicated that she came from early morning to receive her students who were happy to be back in school.
A number of young volunteers from Douma residents are doing their best in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and state institutions to restore schools and restore them to what they were in the past, according to the deputy director of the youth volunteer team Omar Al-Abed.
A number of students in primary and secondary education expressed their joy to return to their schools to continue their scientific career and to acquire the various sciences and knowledge that will help them in building their future.
