150 Syrian expatriates in Venezuela from Damascus International Fair: Reflects Syrian civilization

Their longing for their country, sons and memories of the past led them to organize a delegation of 150 Syrian expatriates in Venezuela and their families to visit the 61st Damascus International Fair and see its activities and pavilions.

The delegation expressed appreciation for the sacrifices and heroics of the Syrian Arab Army, stressing that they are the soldiers of the homeland in the expatriate and will continue to defend it and participate in its construction and reconstruction.

Shafiq Abboud, vice president of the Syrian-Venezuelan Friendship Association, stressed the importance of the delegation's visit to the exhibition and the large presence of countries and companies in its activities, which confirms Syria's recovery and restoration of its shine, pointing out that the association seeks to strengthen communication between expatriates and their motherland and to have an active role in the reconstruction phase.

`` What motivated me to come to Syria and visit the exhibition is to hear about the great participation of countries, '' said Dr. Hema Kerbaj, who expressed her pride in her Syrian identity despite her Venezuelan nationality.

Sareeda Tawfiq invited the expatriates to visit the exhibition which reflects the civilization of Syria and the goodness of its people, expressing its happiness with the joy of the people, while Shahin Khadr expressed his happiness to visit his homeland after more than thirteen years of alienation and presence on the ground of the Damascus International Fair. The Venezuelans stand in the same trench and face the same enemy and the Venezuelan people will win as the Syrian people have won.
