(CNN) - Hurricane Dorian continues its way north of the continent and on Tuesday night and Wednesday will remain about 100 miles off the east coast of Florida. It could reach the coasts of South Carolina and North Carolina later in the week.
At least 7 people died when Dorian hit the Bahamas and dozens of people have been rescued from the floods.

Dorian may be weaker, but he moves faster
Dorian may have weakened, but he is gaining speed as he moves toward the southeastern US coast. UU.
The hurricane was moving at 6 miles per hour (about 9.5 kilometers per hour) a few hours ago, and has now increased its speed to 8 mph (about 13km / h), according to the United States National Hurricane Center.
Its maximum sustained winds have decreased slightly, from the 110 mph (175 km / h) recorded earlier Tuesday at 105 mph (168 km / h).

Rain caused by Hurricane Dorian has moved to the northeast coast of Florida, the US National Hurricane Center said in its most recent hourly notice.
The report also indicates 72 mph (115 km / h) winds and a 89 mph (144 km / h) gust in the last hour, in an area about 140 miles (220 kilometers) east of Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Tropical storm conditions occur along parts of the northeast coast of Florida, as Hurricane Dorian moves 80 miles (about 128 kilometers (from Cape Canaveral. The storm carries sustained winds of 110 mph (175 km / h) as it continues along its north-northwest road at about 7 mph (11 km / h), according to the United States National Hurricane Center in its latest report.
What is the path of the hurricane?
Hurricane Dorian is expected to skirt the coasts of Florida and Georgia during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday and then move north to threaten the coasts of South Carolina and North Carolina later in the week.
A northbound turn is forecast for Wednesday afternoon, followed by a northbound turn on Thursday morning. The National Hurricane Center said earlier that "the eye of Hurricane Dorian will move dangerously near the east coast of Florida and the coast of Georgia until Wednesday night."
“Maximum sustained winds remain near 110 mph (175 km / h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is expected over the next few days and Dorian is expected to remain a powerful hurricane over the next few days, ”the report said.
