Ankara-Sana
A Turkish soldier has been killed and two others wounded when a roadside bomb exploded on a highway in southeast Turkey.
"The PKK militants planted the device on a highway in Mardin province, where it exploded as a security force crossed, killing a Turkish soldier and wounding two others," the Anatolia news agency said.
A Turkish soldier was killed and three others were wounded on August 21 after clashes with gunmen in the southeastern province of Sirnak.
The areas of southeastern Turkey are increasingly tense because of the campaigns and arbitrary military measures implemented by the forces of the regime of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan against the people of these areas.
