[London, 4th Reuters]-The Scottish court said yesterday that it was legal for British Prime Minister Johnson to close Congress from mid-this month to mid-next month.
More than 75 lawmakers have filed lawsuits against the decision of the prime minister.
The court judge recognized that the decision of the prime minister was not a matter of jurisdiction but a political issue and should be judged by parliament and voters.
Scottish Nationalist Joanna Cherry, who brought the lawsuit, expressed his intention to appeal.
