(CNN) - A hospital in northeast Florida received six new babies while Hurricane Dorian passed near the area.
"The hospital says that hurricanes cause low barometric pressure that can sometimes induce rupture of the fetal membranes and can cause women to begin childbirth," the Orange Park Medical Center said in a statement.
- A baby was born in Florida during the hurricane, so his parents called him Dorian
"Every time a hurricane crosses the area, they make sure your team is ready for any influx of patients."

Three babies, called Cameron, Kiami and My'kah, were born on Wednesday, and the other three on Tuesday. Each baby received a hurricane themed monkey to mark their arrival.
