Fire brigades continue to extinguish a huge fire that broke out yesterday evening in the forests of Abu Clifon and Harah Tahoun Halawa and Ain Al-Kroum in Al-Ghab area in Hama province.

Iyad Sarhan, pointed out that the staff of the Commission's mechanisms, including Turksat, Packers and Bulldozers, were thrown to encircle the fire, accelerate its extinguishing and mitigate its damage to the forest wealth, as well as the participation of firefighting teams and mechanisms from Lattakia, Tartous, Masyaf, and the civil defense in extinguishing the fire.
The summer season saw several fires in the Masyaf forest and the jungle, which caused losses to the forest wealth, the latest of which were two in the forests, the Hialin forest and the dome in the Masyaf area last month.
