Boris Johnson is under pressure from his own ranks due to his uncompromising Brexit course. Now the younger brother of the British Prime Minister, Jo Johnson, has resigned his office as Secretary of State and also his mandate as a Member of Parliament for the Conservatives.
"I've been torn between family loyalty and national interest in the past few weeks - it's an irresolvable tension," Jo Johnson explained on Twitter.

The prime minister had previously thrown out 21 faction Tory rebels who had voted against his own government in the dispute over his Brexit course. Including such prominent members as the former President and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Ken Clarke and the grandson of the warrior champion Winston Churchill, Nicholas Soames.
Johnson wants to take his country out of the EU on October 31 without any agreement, should Brussels not respond to his demands for changes to the Brexit deal. Many conservative politicians consider this a serious mistake because of the incalculable consequences for the economy and many other areas of life.
