The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the silence of the international community about what witnessed the city of Hebron and its old town in the West Bank yesterday encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its violations against the holy sites.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that the incursion by Israeli President Rehavin Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Hebron is a dangerous escalation within the occupation plans to Judaize and target the holy sites and archaeological sites.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the relevant international organizations to assume their responsibility and take the necessary measures to pressure the occupation and stop its violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The city of Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs are witnessing intensive Judaization and settlement operations, where the Israeli occupation authorities continue to expand settlements and seize land in conjunction with the ongoing aggression of settlers on Palestinian neighborhoods.
