In a new step in addition to its previous steps of alignment with the Israeli occupation entity, the United States blocked today the issuance of a Security Council declaration on the recent tension on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine after its refusal to include any criticism of Israel.
Diplomats at the United Nations, according to AFP reported that the United States twice refused to remain silent, ie, "no objection" in order to pass the text.
The first draft of the draft declaration, which has been negotiated since the weekend, included six points expressing the Security Council's deep concern over violations of the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
It is noteworthy that in an Israeli attack on Lebanon, two enemy reconnaissance planes fell on the 24th of last August on residential neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where the Israeli enemy continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty, regardless of the relevant international laws and resolutions, especially resolution 1701.
It is noteworthy that the United States for many years obstructed the issuance of any Security Council resolution condemning the occupation entity, affirming its commitment to its security and protection.
