In response to the crimes of the Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people, the missile force in the Yemeni army today launched a batch of Badr-1 ballistic missiles at Najran airport in southern Saudi Arabia.
Armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said in a statement that the missile operation targeted warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft at Najran airport and other military targets in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules, pointing out that the army took all necessary and preventive measures to protect civilians.
He explained that the rocket hits were accurate and led to the exit of the airport from service as ambulances were seen rushing to him.
He said the air force carried out several attacks on the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushayt with a number of K-2 bombers, pointing out that the aircraft targeted military targets in the base and hit their targets with high accuracy.
The brigadier-general vowed more operations, saying that "our operations continue as long as the aggression and siege on our country continues."
Earlier in the day, the Yemeni army targeted a number of missiles gatherings of mercenaries of the Saudi aggression west of Haradh, off Jizan, killing and wounding several of them.
