Beirut - SANA: Lebanese President General Michel Aoun said that any attack on Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity would be met

Beirut-Sana

Lebanese President General Michel Aoun has stressed that any attack on Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity will be met with legitimate self-defense and the Israeli occupation entity will bear its consequences.

Aoun made clear during a meeting with UN Secretary General Jan Kubic at Baabda Palace that the latest Israeli attack on the southern suburbs was an attack on Lebanese sovereignty and a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which Lebanon has committed to all its aspects since it was issued in 2006, the official NNA news agency reported. 2006 until today.

President Aoun pointed out that the Lebanese army deployed alongside the international forces is fulfilling its duty.

The Israeli occupation entity recently attacked residential neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of Beirut by blowing up two reconnaissance planes. The Lebanese National Resistance responded to the attack by destroying an Israeli military vehicle on the road of the settlement of Avivim in northern Palestine near the border with Lebanon, killing and wounding its occupants.

The Lebanese president confirmed last Tuesday that this heroic process of resistance led to the deterrence of the enemy and stop the continuation of its infringement on Lebanon and violation of national sovereignty.
