This is Erramatti Mangayamma, a farmer from the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, and is believed to be the oldest person to give birth.
She became pregnant through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and doctors gave birth to babies through a C-section on Thursday.
"The surgery went well ... the mother and the babies are healthy without complications," Dr. Sanakayyala Umashankar, director of Ahalya IVF, who performed the caesarean section, told CNN.

Mangayamma and her husband, E. Raja Rao, 80, married in 1962, but could never conceive naturally. They approached Umashankar in 2018 and, after preliminary tests were promising, the doctor agreed to give them a round of IVF treatment.
Given the age of Mangayamma, doctors performed a caesarean section and will keep it under observation for the next 21 days.
"We are not allowing the breastfeeding mother and babies to be fed through the milk bank," said Umashankar.

Rao, 80, has already started making plans for his daughter, Umashankar said. And for Mangayamma it is a new life opportunity at the age of 73, he said.
“Now he has a lot of confidence. More confident than ever in his life and looks forward to the next chapter of his life with girls, ”added Umashankar.
