The 32nd edition of the Moscow International Book Fair, which opened on September 4, continued its activities with the participation of 33 countries including Syria and hundreds of Russian and foreign publishing and printing houses.
The Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvidkoi said in a speech that the book fair in Moscow is one of the largest global cultural events in the field of book publishing, pointing to the remarkable turnout in the exhibition.
He represented Syria at the Moscow International Book Fair, where he published a wide range of books translated into Russian.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in Moscow, Director of the Syrian Pavilion Alaa Al-Mahdi said that Syria's participation in this exhibition is very valuable and comes for the third year in a row, pointing to the great Russian turnout on the exhibits of the Syrian Pavilion.
