The theme of the day: Johnson is gambling the future of the British

It would be the next defeat for Boris Johnson: The opposition parties should have agreed to reject the prime minister's application for new elections on Monday. The British media agree.

Already on Wednesday Johnson had failed in the lower house with it. The opposition also brought a law there to prevent a Johnson-aimed hard Brexit on October 31.
