Young artist Hamza Sabsoub draws his material from the Syrian environment and the surrounding environment to consecrate the beauty of this land and its ancient heritage.

Hamza, who held the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh exhibition entitled (sweet my country) said in a statement to SANA that he sought through his last exhibition to invite the sons of the country to return to him through the embodiment of paintings of the Syrian heritage in general, drawing women uniforms in the island and the Damascene lanes and nature Mother coast with some simple additions.

On his focus on natural areas in his paintings, the young artist explained that he wanted to highlight the tourist places such as the forests of Farlak, Safita, Slunfeh, Mashkita and Jabal Al-Sheikh with simple additions that serve the painting in a manner that tends to be realistic in general and expressive in his own perspective.

Hamza, who drew straw baskets, old musical instruments, roses, burlap and crochet, tends to use oil on canvas as well as acrylic.

Hamza Sabsoub was born in Damascus in 1987. He has been drawing since childhood and won awards in children's art competitions. He studied at the Adham Ismail Center and participated in several exhibitions outside Syria.
