The Third International Trade Union Forum for Solidarity with Workers and People of Syria held at Sahara Tourist Complex in Damascus countryside continued its activities, where participants stressed the importance of solidarity among peoples in fighting terrorism and confronting imperialist interventions and hegemonic tendencies aimed at destabilizing peoples' security and sovereignty of states.

In a speech during the second session of the forum, Deputy Foreign Minister and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Miqdad stressed the importance of solidarity between peoples and the working class and the mobilization of energies in the face of coercive economic measures imposed by the US administration on their countries, expressing thanks to Arab and foreign workers and their representatives for standing with Syria and its people in the war on terrorism .

Al-Miqdad pointed out that imperialism has been the enemy of the peoples since the last century, practicing all forms of misinformation and continuing its attempts to divert it from achieving its objectives in the fight against domination and domination.

Al-Miqdad warned of the seriousness of what is happening nowadays to work hard to liquidate the just cause of the Palestinian people through the so-called `` deal of the century '' amid the intensification of the campaign of Western imperialist propaganda to deceive the peoples of the world.He pointed out that the United States and its allies and agents have become increasingly fierce to suppress the aspirations of peoples and eliminate their achievements.

Al-Miqdad called for finding solidarity among all peoples because the ruling institutions in Western societies are trying to eliminate the remaining values ​​such as justice and fairness for the peoples' issues. He pointed out that Syria has fought a war of confrontation with the forces of world imperialism for the past eight years. Syrians.

Mekdad said that the goal of imperialism from the war on Syria is to destroy it as a force that stands in the face of American and Zionist plans in the region and as a real force that stands by the Palestinian people and works to liberate the Syrian Golan from the Zionist occupation.

He pointed to the role played by the Turkish regime along with imperialism during the years of war on Syria to facilitate the passage of more than two hundred thousand terrorists to the territory of the Syrian state, noting that the US invasion of Iraq was part of this scheme as well as what happened in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.

Al-Miqdad said that those who believe that other countries that supported and financed terrorism are immune to American and Israeli plans in the region are wrong because the United States does not respect even its closest friends who pay them billions and will not accept a strong state in the region that stands against its plans.
