A number of delegates participating in the Third International Trade Union Forum for Solidarity with the Workers and People of Syria affirmed their full solidarity with Syria and its people in the face of the aggressive war of terrorism in its economic, military and media forms, noting the steadfastness of the Syrian people and their workers who will rebuild their homeland.
In a statement to SANA, Abdelkader Abdallah, Secretary General of the Palestine Workers' Union, pointed out that the aim of their participation in the forum is to provide support to the Syrian people who have always stood by the Palestinian people and have been subjected to a fierce war because of their principled positions on the Palestinian issue.
For his part, Fadlallah Abdel Hafiz Fadlallah of the Federation of Trade Unions in Sudan pointed out that Syria represents the first line of defense for the Arab nation in the face of all the plans being waged against it, stressing that Syria's steadfastness during the years of the terrorist war that targeted it came thanks to the cohesion and solidity of its people and leadership.
