Pope Francis met in Madagascar with an old student of his, the Argentinean father Pedro Opeka, whom many in the place call "The Living Saint" for having changed the lives of thousands of poor people who used to live in the middle of garbage. Thousands of inhabitants of the area gave a warm welcome to the pontiff. Francisco highlighted the work of Opeka, who at 71 has already built homes for 25,000 people, 100 schools, six clinics and two soccer stadiums in Madagascar.
