Starting the project of expanding the copper network for communication in Deir Ezzor

The branch of the Syrian Telecom Company in Deir Ezzor implemented the project of maintaining and expanding the copper network in the second place in Deir Ezzor under a contract with
Branch of the General Company for Construction and Development.

Ahmed Kharouf, Head of Network Implementation Department at Deir Ezzor, said that as a result of bottlenecks in the telephone lines in Al-Joura and Al-Qusour neighborhoods, which are served from the second place, the main and branch telephone network in this center is being expanded as well as a comprehensive maintenance of the network.

"The purpose of this project is to deliver telephone service to all participants and applicants in this area, in addition to the surrounding liberated neighborhoods," Kharouf said.

In turn, the supervisor of the project by the General Company for Construction and Reconstruction Bashar Al-Abdullah pointed out that “the company's workshops are implementing the project under a contract with the Syrian Telecom Company branch in Deir ez-Zor worth 240 million Syrian pounds for a period of 9 months and includes digging and extending copper cables and filling and restoration of the situation. The work was carried out about a month ago and the proportion of work carried out was about 20 percent. ”
