The Economic Committee at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers held an extraordinary meeting chaired by Prime Minister Eng. The meeting of the Economic Committee identified the role of governors and local councils in supporting efforts to control markets through intensive field trips to prevent monopoly cases and ensure the availability of commodities in them, intensified rationing patrols and tightened market monitoring and imposing severe penalties against violators, in addition to direct foreign trade The main food commodity components to ensure their availability in the market in appropriate quantities and prices.
The committee affirmed that the relevant government bodies are in a state of instantaneous follow-up of the exchange rate fluctuations and immediate actions have been taken to give their results.
