Three people were killed and a fourth seriously injured in a shooting at a house in the Dutch city of Dordrecht this evening.
Three people from the same family were killed and a fourth seriously injured in a shooting in the city's Heemerstein district, ANP news agency reported.
The Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf quoted sources familiar with the investigation as saying: "A policeman shot dead family members before committing suicide."
Police officials were not immediately available for further details, but emergency response teams were at the scene and the house was cordoned off.
Dordrecht Mayor Wouter Kulf said on Twitter that there was a "very serious shooting incident" and that he was heading to the scene.
