The besieged president of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro announced the start of 18 days of military exercises on the border with Colombia. Maduro says there is a real threat from Colombia, in a situation that began with a video in which the FARC dissent prepares its return to arms and many say in Colombia that it was recorded in Venezuelan territory. Bogotá then accused Caracas of protecting Colombian guerrillas and announced that it will take these accusations before international organizations. Maduro will also accuse Colombia and raised the alert level on the orange border.
