The Presidency of the Palestinian Liberation Army (PLA) held a celebration today to mark the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Liberation Army at the martyr Basil al-Assad school for Palestinian military training in Masyaf city of Hama countryside.
Maj. Gen. Mohammad Tariq Al-Khadra, Chief of Staff of the Liberation Army, said that victory is coming for Palestine and that the fate of the occupation will be wiped out thanks to the sacrifices of the Palestinian people who will definitely return to their land.
Al-Khadra pointed out that the PLA forces stand by the Syrian Arab Army in the face of the Israeli aggression and in the face of the ferocious terrorist war that Syria is facing and will continue to stand with the Syrian people and its leadership against all forms of aggression and terrorism led by the United States, the Israeli occupation entity and some reactionary Arab regimes.
For his part, Brigadier Mohammad Tariq Abu Sorour, head of the school in his speech during the ceremony, which included military offers to continue the Palestinian people stand with the Syrian people and leadership in the face of what Syria is subjected to.
The ceremony was attended by a number of officers of the Palestinian Liberation Army Staff and commanders of military units in the governorate.
