Damascus, (SANA) - The experience of the Children's Parliament has reached the Damascus countryside after its application in Daraa, Deir Ezzor and Raqq governorates

For her part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus countryside Fatima Al-Rasheed pointed out that the Children's Parliament is a translation of a number of articles of the Convention on Nations The Convention on the Rights of the Child, which refers to the right of the child to participate, express an opinion and listen to their needs, notes the importance of experience to ensure the implementation of this right as well as publicizing and raising awareness of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The Ahl al-Sham Initiative Foundation, which was launched in 2012, includes about 72 NGOs in Damascus countryside that contribute to the implementation of relief work and various development projects for different age groups.
