Occupied Jerusalem - SANA - A wide Palestinian rejection and warnings of the seriousness of the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin

Occupied Jerusalem-Sana

Widespread Palestinian rejection and warnings of the seriousness of the statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his intention to annex the Jordan Valley in the West Bank to his usurper entity and assert that it comes within the comprehensive war of Judaization targeting the Palestinian land and the Palestinian presence with unlimited US support.

The Jewish settlement plans announced by Netanyahu include the seizure of more than half the area of the West Bank, the establishment of thousands of settlement units in the Jordan Valley, which makes up 28 percent of the West Bank, and confining the Palestinian presence in small areas to end any idea of establishing an independent Palestinian state.

The Palestinian presidency stressed that Netanyahu's declaration is a flagrant violation of the resolutions of international legitimacy and international law and will not change the fact that all forms of Israeli settlements, including occupied Jerusalem, are illegal, stressing that the Palestinian people will address these plans and frustrate them by sticking to their land and adherence to their rights.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh explained that settlement and Judaization schemes will not change the fact that the land is for the Palestinians and that the occupation is inevitably long or short.

The Palestinian National Council pointed out that Netanyahu's declaration represents a disregard for the international community, its institutions and decisions related to the Palestinian issue, adding that this declaration comes within the framework of the “deal of the century” conspiracy, which poses a great danger not only to Palestinian rights but to security and stability in the entire region.

Fatah affirmed that the Palestinian people will fail Netanyahu's plans and will continue its struggle until it achieves its national rights and establish its independent state, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and take measures to stop the violations of the occupation and its aggressive practices.

The Secretary-General of the PLO Executive Committee, Saeb Erekat, said that Netanyahu's declaration on the capture of the Jordan Valley and the expansion of settlements is a war crime, calling on the international community to condemn these statements and impose immediate sanctions on the Israeli occupation entity.

Member of the Executive Committee of the PLO, Wassel Abu Yusuf pointed out that the expansion and settlement plans announced by Netanyahu came with a green light from the American administration and in light of the international community's silence on the aggression of the occupation against the Palestinian people and their holy sites and land. .

The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Mustafa Barghouti explained that the settlement plans of the occupation and the war of Judaization and displacement come with the support of Washington, and this requires moving in two tracks, the first to continue the resistance against the occupation and the second track to move in international forums and prosecute the occupation and work to bring its criminals to the International Criminal Court.

Barghouthi pointed out that Netanyahu's statements regarding the Jordan Valley and the intensification of settlements are part of the American "deal of the century", stressing that all these plans will not change the strategy of the Palestinian people to resist occupation and hold on to the land.

In international positions, the United Nations warned of the consequences of Netanyahu's declaration of annexation of the Jordan Valley to his entity and said the organization's spokesman Stephane Dujarric that "any decision taken by" Israel "to impose its laws, provisions and management in the occupied West Bank will not have an international legal basis, pointing out that the position of the Secretary-General of the organization It has always been clear that unilateral steps will not help the peace process.

`` Netanyahu's proposal to annex occupied territories violates international law and makes a two-state solution impossible, and all those who support the peace process should reject it, '' said Sen. Bernie Sanders, a Democratic Democrat who is running for president.
