Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow's view on most issues was different from that of US national security adviser John Bolton.
"Moscow did not agree with Bolton's sharp approach and relies on the style of force, including military force," Lavrov said in a press statement today, referring to Bolton's policy toward Iran, Venezuela and elsewhere.
The Russian presidency said yesterday that Bolton's dismissal was an "internal affair" of the United States.
US President Donald Trump announced yesterday that he had sacked his national security adviser because he strongly disagreed with his positions.
