Maradiaga: "There is no diplomatic report that can convey what happens in Nicaragua"

According to the report of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, human rights violations continue to be committed in Nicaragua. The report covers a long period of time and records violations ranging from arbitrary arrests, torture, ill-treatment and homicides. Felix Maradiaga, of the National Unity Political Council of Nicaragua, thanks the report, but also acknowledges that there is no diplomatic report that can reliably describe the situation in the country.
